Hello. I finally managed to sight in my PO 3.5x21 on my InRange '74. However, I ended up doing the exact opposite of what folks said to do.

There was a guy with a scope on his rifle watching me shoot (he was waiting for a cold line to set up a target). He told me I was hitting high. OK, I thought, I'll move the POA down. I fired. He told me it hit even higher. I tried moving it down some more. Still higher. So I started moving the POA higher, and my POI started going down. I finally hit the target. I was shooting to the left, so I adjusted left and it started hitting to the right.

So now my scope is sighted in. I just thought I'd post this in case anyone else was frustrated by their scope.

Yes, on my PSO 1 you move the reticule like you would a front sight post: follow your group.
With scopes that have a non-moving reticule we are spared seeing this weirdness.
