Anyone have one of these?  What do you guys think of it?

Interesting that the dot doesn't disappear when the batts die...no descriptions on whether or not it's parallax free either.

That's the one.

Yep, Freedom Optics is selling them.  I guess they are pretty new since I haven't located any reviews or in-depth info.

FYI, the PK-S01 (now designated by the manufacturer as "PK-AS") red/black sights are back in stock.

PK-AS at FreedomOptics.com

Tantal also has some info on them on his website.

I guarantee that you'll be very happy with this sight.  Just look at its unique features, such as the ability to remain functional even without batteries and the bullet drop compensating cam.

Happy holidays and all the best in the New Year,

Yuri

Does this allow the use of iron sites while it's mounted?

Yes, it doesn't obstruct iron sights when mounted, but you shouldn't have any need to use iron sights anyways as the PK-AS sight remains functional even when the batteries are dead.

Nice looking sight...  Too bad I'm behaving after a feverish shopping spree that has me asking myself WTF happened?  Depression at the holidays can be hard on the bottomline!
