So I'm in this neck of the woods for business, so I thought I would look up Military Gun Supply.
Not too difficult to find. Take Interstate 820S and get off on E. Berry Street exit. Go to the end of the street, turn left and go under the interstate, turn left and go down about a mile and they are on the right hand side.
Store is kind of narrow, but deep nonetheless. Rifles from floor to ceiling on every available inch of wallspace....impressive.
Polish Tantals looked to be mint condition kits built into complete rifles, Polish PKMS Underfolders also looked to have been built from excellent condition kits. Couple of 7.62 RPKs built from good condition kits, still had good bores, overall refinish was very good, and the wood was used but good condition and gave the rifle "character." Saiga 7.62x39s and .308s were on the wall. Some were converted to pistol grip, some were not.
Great selection of ammo, spare magazines, holsters, etc.
Great selection of AK, Uzi, and other kits that can be built into rifles.
I talked with an employee named "Guy" and he gave me a great tour of their store, weapons, etc. Had a great conversation with a customer who was contemplating the purchase of an Armalite M-15 and wanted to know the reliability characteristics of the AR versus AK.....both Guy and I gave him an earful, and then I told him if it was me......I would buy both.
Went ahead and purchased one of their Olympic Arms AR receivers for another project I have going. I noticed OA is now listing the "Caliber" as "Multi" and the "Model" as "M.F.R." which I can only assume means "Multi Function Rifle." The transaction went quickly and smoothly. They had a good selection of AK accessories on the wall, so I also picked up a front sight adjustment tool.
Overall I give the store high marks and recommend anyone passing through Fort Worth, swing by and see what they currently have for sale.
