I'll be sweating my ass off tomorrow taking the LSAT. Five 35-minute sections of argument analysis, reading comprehension, analytical reasoning and a guinea pig experimental section, all capped off with a timed writing sample.
Nice to know someone else will be having fun, though. Tip a few back for me. |

And then the Bar to look forward to... Two of my friends took the W.Va. Bar exam in July. Both did fine, but they had that haunted look in their eyes for about two months beforehand. What kind of practice are you considering? I'm kinda thinking about natural resource law based on where I live, but by the time I'm through, I'm sure I'll be grateful for any job I can get. |

I'm hoping to find something in the private sector. State jobs are sweet and all (you wouldn't believe the number of obscure holidays that state workers get off here), but I don't know if I want to get over-specialized. Someday, I'd like to do the whole country lawyer thing in one of our less-populated counties, and that will probably call for a broader range of knowledge. |
