Does ORF still carry the 4-pack of used 5.45 magazines?

They are still on the site for $29.95 for the black, firebrick and saddle brown.

Those are for the new mags. They list used mags 4 for $19.95 n the SEAK2 order form and I thought I saw an ad for them somewhere.

Todd,

I ordered 8 used black mags. Three of them fit my SAR2 just fine but the other five are very, very tight. I going to try and modify one of them. If that doesn't work, I'll return the remaining four for exchange with some brown ones.

They may say new but believe me, some of the firebrick ones I got sure weren't new they were definately used. The black and saddle brown appeared new though.

I've noticed the different numbered bulgy mags are slightly different. The circle 10s seem slightly smaller and fit in both my 5.45 guns a little easier. The circle 21s were downright tight, don't know whats up with that... The different plants of manufacture must have slightly different specs I guess.

Anyway, I got a order of 4 of these mags from ORF, pretty nice. Only 1 had much wear at all, and it's still in decent condition and definitely usable. I already had some circle 21s, in my 4 from ORF were 3 10s and 1 more 21 btw...

Guys,

Rod and I noticed this yesterday on the milled 74 receivers. The problem seems to be the area just under the front tab on the mags. On the newer ones, the area below the tab is not relieved much at all. On the used mags, the relief is much bigger. Don't know what caused this, as stated above different plants? I try to gey a pic up later showing what I mean.

Mike
