I was looking through TAPCO.com's ad in Shotgun News and I saw their polymer AK folding stock. I called them and they said it would bolt on to my rifle and that it was designed for non-folding receivers. Here is my qeastion

Does anyone know if this is  a sturdy and quality stock?

Are there any other options to put a folding stock on this rifle without cutting and drilling the receiver? I'd like a metal folding stock that just bolts on to where the wood stock does. Is there one on the market?

Thanks in advance

The Tapco stuff isn't called "Trashco" or "Crapco" for no reason.

That's why I posted this question, I am a "noob" when it comes to AK's and I would not have known that about Tapco products.

Thanks, I might try that romy stock.
