Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Norinco 56S-1 Question

I have friend trying to sell me a Norinco 56S-1 with folding under stock.  I know it was made around 1989 but I don't know much about the 56S.  I have looked in the forums but don't find much.  The wood is in great shape and all of the serial numbers match.

Is there anything special or desirable about this model or is it just another AK?  You help is appreciated.

Beautiful looking AK to be sure. Unsure of Norinco's version, but would expect it to a premium example
