Here's the ammo situation at the show today

Please guys, lets stay on top of things if anyone finds any ammo on the sponsors sites.

I see tons of 7.62x39mm at my local gun show (hosted by C&E). I have read about shortage problems but I still have a good 1,500 rounds left.

The prices aren't exactly cheap, but if you really need it you can get it. All of these are Wolf 7.62x39mm because that is the cheapest. Also, all of the above links are in stock, not backordered. Hope this helps.

I was at the C&E show in Hickory, NC.

Last show they had tons of it.

I got plenty still, wish I didnt get ripped on shipping it Id make some money.

Hell man, the shows in WI haven't had any ammo for like the last 10 years.  At least not any bulk ammo.  I used to go to try and buy powder and ammo to save on shipping.  No one has any and I normally leave 5 to 10 dollars poorer and pissed off.  I would sell every gun I owned if I could get gun show prices for them.

Come on over to the next SW WI (Richland Center) gun show...there was quite a bit of ammo 556/223 and 7.62X39
American Eagle sold at pretty good prices too...

I was at a fun show in Kentucky yesterday and they only had about 1500 rounds of 7.62 in the whole place.  1000 rounds of wolf and 500 rounds of Silver Bear match grade.  The guy was wanting 4.00 a box on the Silver Bear and I passed.  I paid 140 otd with an ammo can for the 1000 rounds of Wolf.

Although on our way home I stopped in a gunstore and they had probably 20,000 rounds of Wolf 5.45x39 on the shelf.  It was priced at 149.99 plus tax.  They had the Wolf tuna cans of 640 rounds for 90 dollars.  This is a little high, but if no one else has it what do you expect.

On a side note the dealers with the 7.62 at the gun show got plum angry when I tried to talk them down.  They were like..."we can't get it...that ammo can't be replaced right now."  But hopefully the new year wilk bring tons of Wolf back into the country.

Also everywhere I have been has had tons apon tons of .223, so I am not seeing any problem with it.

Q-gunner - perhaps you should start the year over with a clear head - - as none of those stores you posted has any in stock. There is a problem with supply.

Read through the list. Ammunitionstore has the in stock and out of stock items listed, if you go through the list all but ONE type of 7.62x39mm Wolf is out of stock. Go to the home site, click on "ammunition", then click on "7.62x39". The second item down on the list, "Wolf Performance 122 grain Bi metal FMJ" is shown as in stock. I just checked their site.

I have Dial Up and it is unusually slow now, and Cheaper Than Dirt says their systems will be down till Jan. 3, so I can only tell you about Ammunitionstore. But I think you see my point. If you contacted Ammunitionstore and they STILL did not have any, it is not my fault, their site shows it as in stock and it has always been up-to-date.
