I have recently purchased a GP WASR. Ugly, but works. Does anyone have a GP WASR and Bulgarian waffle mags? Do they/combo work? If not, what did you do to make them work?

I saw some at the fun show today....$36 for the waffles w/ the circle and 10s on the bottom of the mag. $150 for four forty rounders and pouch. I passed, as I already ordered some for less.

I saw some Pro-mag waffle copies also....$19.

What does the GP stand for?

Thanks

GP stands for GOT PAINT becouse the finish looks like shit.
Just kidding my wasr looks like crap ever since I got it new
I just left the finish alone and just refinished the stock

the waffles will work with a little fileing here and there one them since the wasr was milled out to take high cap mags
stay away from the promags they are crap

I called Crebs Custom, they have the Bulgy 30s in stock for $28.
KVAR won't have any for 6 weeks......maybe. And they will be higher too.
