I spend most of my time in the AR forum (have 3 of them). Went to a local ARFCom shoot where there wer several AK47 type rifles. I'm now interested in getting one.

Who makes the best quality AK's?

Does it make sense to wait till after the ban expires (fingers crossed)?

Any other insight would be helpful.

Oh....I plan to use it as basically a plinking type rifle but having good quality weapons is important to me.

buy an sam7 from arsenal inc. (las vegas nevada) if you want a quality milled ak47 type III.

if you prefer an akm or ak74, i would suggest going the custom build route thru ohio rapid fire or inrange.

definitely...wait one more week!!!
