Well, you've come to the right place.  My first build was a AMD65 kit on an Ohio Ordnance receiver and it's still a sweet shoooter.  Also there's a screw build thread here that I used to build mine, but there is a lot of research to do on what you want, so good luck and welcome to the dark side.
