Damn it!!!

After building one last weekend and adding up the costs, I realized I could build 3 AKs for every basic AR15. Then this deal comes along to add variety. So I ordered one of the folder kits and another standard. Lets see. If I nick up 2 fingers per build I'll still have 4 left when I'm done. Yeah, that'll work!

is that a good deal? I know the folders go for $55-75 now...by themselves

>>>Cut to BATF Specs<<<

I wonder if that means the barrel is cut too?
I like it better when they have a photo of a typical cut kit and not a photo of a finished gun.

The folder kit is $150. Regular is $100. So you pay $50 for the stock, which half the time you can sell for more if you don't want it. If you do want a rifle with a folder, buying it this way saves having a spare buttstock sitting around. Something you might have anyway. I've got a SAR-1 and a Romy buttstock I'm not using anyway.

Who sells those Romy side folder stocks? I ordered one the other day but got an email that they had run out.

BTW, I have 3 of the CFS Romy kits now. The first I would rate excellent+ (almost new). The other two are in the good to very good category. The bores are very nice, but the outside is a little beat up.

Unless you just need another "G" kit, you might as well by the folder by itself.
