Here is a pic of my newly aquired(300 bucks) Maadi ARM it was imported by intertac but the date was scraped off so I don't know when. It now wears a east german folder a 74 muzzle break( I also have a slant) and the worlds ugliest lower handgaurd(fake brown wood WTF). I am thinking of buying a tapco stock set, the folder galil lower and saw grip combo(see link for example).  I would like the longer stock(I am 6'2) and think that they look good. Can anyone see a reason this would not be a straight swap? Would there be any issues with the vented piston? If anyone has any other insight for me I would appriciate it. Thanks

First off, nice pictures and welcome to Maadis. Your lower Handguard is East German I believe. The Tapco stuff is a mixed bag: some people hate it, others love it. I've got a SAW grip on my Maadi RML, mainly because I had one and needed the US part, but it feels pretty good in my hands. It would be a straight swap for the Buttstock, you'd just need to drill holes in the Tapco Folder (included in the instructions). I've heard some not so positive remarks about the Galil folder, and I had one for a while. To me it seems kind of flimsy, and I don't really know if you'd get much extra length out of the trade. Just some thoughts from a fellow Maadi owner (I've got two and love both). Stay around and enjoy. There's tons of stuff in here.

BTW--What are your compliance parts?

Here is a pic update on the maadi(top). I changed the lower handgaurd and put on a set of mojo sights.

You should have no problem swapping stocks but that upper handguard has got to go. I know it looks cool and all that but..... if you do any rapid firing or bump firing sooner or later you are going to grab it. You will then hear the same sizzling sound that throwing a steak on a hot grill makes followed by screaming like a young school girl in a haunted house.
