[ARCHIVED THREAD] - NJ AK Build Question

After reading all the wonderful info on this site and seeing the pics, I would like to attempt a build. Are there any laws or regulations in New Jersey that would prevent me from doing so? I looked in the books and online and didnt find anything, but I thought I would ask. If anyone has any info , tips or pointers about doing a build in this state, I would appreciate that info as well.

After scanning thru the Book that the ATF sent me, my advice to you would be either

1) DONT

OR

2) MOVE

ATF does not have jurisdiction over state laws, just as they can not make a traffic stop, they can not enforce state law, even if it is weapon related.

Just a side note, I have no doubt that building any weapon in NJ is a bad idea. This state is horrible...

I was, of course, referring to the book of STATE LAWS that the ATF sends me.
