Wow, she came out nicely.  I have two AMD kits on order and am hoping they arrive soon so I can begin building them.

Nice... the second kit pictured is the type I just ordered.  Keep us posted once it is completed.

Which receiver did you use on the first build and what are you planning on using on the second?

Nice!!  Where and when did you get your kit?  Mine was from Clearview and wasn't nearly as nice--plastic grips to boot--but was minty on the inside.

It is built on a Ewbanks receiver (Gen I)

It is finished in 1200 degree header paint....baked on.

I've got a Ewbanks GenII receiver for it and the kit below.

I'm waiting on one for Yugo RPK kits.

Dang, how many of the kits do you have stashed away? Yeah, I've been using the inexpensive DupliColor High Heat Engine paint #1200 and baking it on as well.  Finish comes out nice and smooth, and as far as I can tell so far, very durable.  Haven't had a chance to do a range visit to see how it stands up to the heat, but I think it was well worth the $5 investment.

Very slick, AMD's are what got me initally started in building AK's.  Can't wait to see the RPK built, that kit looks in great shape.

I had a chance to handpick the Yugo RPK kit. It's a 1985 issue, all matching numbers....looks to be unissued.

These are waiting there turn he

On these 2, the one on the left needs the wood done, the one on the right needs the trigger setup, receiver and wood finish.

The Yugos - both of them.

Where are you ordering the receivers for the Yugo builds from?  I am considering doing a Yugo in the near future, but need some receivers.  TIA
