Whats the general consensus on the Firing Line's milled MLS99?

I'll start:

Way too much money to have to tolerate that tacky eagle engraved on the side. (Or the bottom, or anywhere.)

Eagle notwithstanding, FiringLine receivers are extremely nice receivers. They have better fit and finish than what Arsenal of Bulgaria/USA turns out. They build into very nice rifles. I have three firinglines - a 5.45 fixed stock, a 7.62 sidefold krink and a 7.62 underfolder.

As far as the "Eagle", I don't have much comment. Alot of people at the range have commented that it looks "cool". I'm kind of ambivalent about it. There is no way that a firingline would pass for EastEuro if it didn't have the Eagle, the fit and finish are far too nice. Since you're not about to fool a purist, the Eagle is a minor annoyance.
