Has anyone ever chronographed an M92 to see what the velocity loss actually is when you go from a 16" barrel to a 10" barrel?

A guy did it for the 12" barrel and it lost around 200 fps

Yugo M92 with pinned on fake suppressor gave 157 fps less than a 16" bbl AK with Golden Tiger ammo.  Outside temp was about 80 degrees.  I would have thought the loss would have been much more.

Seeing as the fake suppressor would have done nothing to increase the velocity, that drop looks pretty damn good.  I measured the sight radius and you lose about 3" from a standard AK.  That's better than the Russian/Bulgarian Krinks.  They have a shorter barrel and the rearsight is further up on the receiver cover.  The Yugos put it further back.
