I'm going to try my hand at a BIY receiver. It has been suggested to me to buy the lower rails from SKSman. On his website at http://www.sksman.com/parts/parts3.html,  down under the section titled "AK Internal Parts", items #1 and #2 are the parts I think I need. Even though I am building an AK-47 and not an AKM, will these parts work for me?

Also, are the positions of the lower rails that are denoted at http://natureonline.com/ak/AK47receiverplan_rev2.pdf correct for the SKSman lower rails?

TIA!

I just finished welding SKSman rails in a Bent-Metal.com receiver blank. I had to trim a little off of the ejector for the bolt to fit. It was almost as if the ejector was sized for a 5.45 bolt. I also needed to remove a little bit off the bottom of the lower rails at the front near the mag well for the magazine to fit.

My rails wound up .300 down from the top, but that's where they were on the milled receiver stub.
