I bought a parts kit recently and all numbers match except the bolt carrierhinking.gif. Just wondered if anyone had the carrier with the original number 7339 on it and would be willing to trade or sell? No big deal, but all matching #'s would be nice. Thanks, Bill

Well there once was a guy who was looking for a certain SN # garand. It was the one used by his dad in WW2. He called the CMP and they happened to have it in stock, and he purchased it. I've also heard of a few other times when someone found out the SN Number of their dad's old rifle and asked around. Over in the C&R section someone who bought a K31 got an email from the Swiss soldier who carried it in his army days.

Perhaps you could find someone to fill in the current serial # on it and restamp the serial # you want.  Just a thought.
