Are 922r compliance parts needed for a Krink Pistol?  My ATF books are at work, but I seem to remember 922r only applied to rifles.

What full auto parts in an M92 kit have to be replaced with SA?

What regular AK parts and accessories work an a Krink (M92, specifically)?  Will a regular top receiver cover work?

What all barrel extensions are there?  I have seen scattered mentions, but no list (preferably with current prices).

If all this is covered elsewhere, please point me to the thread(s).

All these damn Krink pictures here are getting me all excited.  Hell, it's been almost a month since I finished my last set of projects.

922R applies to rifles only. Pistols can have all foreign parts.

Hey Cappy.

#1 922R is for Rifles only.

#2  All of the FA parts in a Krink kit can be used for your build. It will still NOT fire at Full-Auto unless the Sear parts are added. These parts require that you drill a 3rd hole for the FCG and a 3rd FCG pin to be used in order to work.

#3 Yes, a top receiver cover should fit. Everything from the front trunion back should interchange with AK parts.  The Gas Piston, Forgrips, Muzzle devices will not.

#4. I've only seen a handfull of muzzle devices for the M92: The Krinkov FH, 4 pc. FH, Extended Krinkov FH, a Combination Compensator/Krink extension, Round tube Fake Surpressor, Round Tube Fake Surpessor w/ Krinkov FH tip, and the Russian style PBS5 fake suppressors sold at Ohio Rapis Fire. The PBS5's are the most expensive at: $124.95 where as the stock cone FH cost's about $44.00 or so. Everything else falls in between.

Thanks for the replies.

I have about decided on a SBR build now.  Is there a regular slant cut AK type compensator available that will fir the M92 threads?  If not, I may look into my brother-in-law making me one.

If I jump through the hoops and pay $200 for a SBR, I want a SHORT barrel.

Mmm, pumpkin size fireballs...

Your brother in law could make one, but it would look silly on the end of an M92.  There's a bit of a thread/brake size discrepancy.  See pic below of an actual M92 front end, original brake, and the little thing below is a standard size slant brake.  The barrel is not threaded, it's the FSB.
