I'm new here and hoped you all might know something about this sight? Are they good? There's one on Ebay but I'm not sure about the mount? Thanks for your help.

that mount is fine but maybe check into the one with the lever on it instead. those screws could walk at a real bad time.

BTW: yes, the Kobra is a great reflex sight.

it is what the aimpoint or eotech is to AR's.

For a new one with shipping, expect to pay around $200.

yeah, around the $200 range. sometimes you can find them cheaper, if so grab it.

Also, do not even attempt to buy the ATN fake copy, they will shut off after each round fired and have to be hit upside the head to be turned back on. It is one of those airsoft copies. Stay away, and expect to pay the $200 +or- range for a real one.

Mine was doing that, and it's a real Kobra. I think it's fixed now, haven't had any field time.

Same model works well for me, even survives the FAL. The throw lever model has only 1 side clamp, this screw model has 2.

I had a problem seeing the red dot at distances past 100 yards in bright sun. Not sure if it's made to see that far as I understand it's a close quarter combat optic.

Mine works ok, very ruggedly built (the housing anyway), but is not nearly as bright as my OKO.
