I'd hereby like to nominate myself for this title. I hope this thing doesn't explode in my face!

Luckily Madmarco's machine screw heads cover most of the mess. I still have a couple of visible ones though. I'm definitely going to use the lanyard to test-fire this one. Has anyone ever had anything bad happen due to wallowed-out trunion holes?

Well, it depends on how far you went! In my experience, you only need to extend it out about 1/16 of an inch. That is on predrilled vulcan receivers, which is all I'v worked with. If your trunnion holes are any bigger than that, you might consider welding (TIG) one side of the hole closed.

Maybe I should have gotten a vulcan then. I had to go almost the entire width of the screw on one hole, about half that on a few of the others. I'd rather not try to remove these screws. Should I just weld the screw heads to the receiver?
