Hello, everyone.  I am lovin my SEAK, but have found it uncomfortable for my cheek bone when I have my cheek welded to the stock (triangle side folder) for extended periods shooting.  I know, I know, I'm a wuss!  Its not that its killing me or anything, just wondering if there are any options out there for padding it without doing something a little too "basement garage" to it like wrapping with tape.  The discomfort definitely isnt from recoil (hardly any to speak of with 5.45) merely that I dont have much "padding" in the cheeks of my face since I am a fairly thin guy (5'11" 170lbs).  Anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks in advance for replies.

I think the DSA CR-140a might work:  www.dsarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=CR139A&storeid=1&image=itccheekrest.gif

It doesn't specifically list AKs, but it looks like it could work.

Pick up an SVD detachable cheekpiece. The Russians use that themselves.

Grow a pair

Just kidding.

I am used to using the Romanian wire stock, so for me the krink style sidefolder is a nice warm/cold pillow(depending on the temp.)

Thanks, Tomac!  That cheek piece looks like just the ticket!
