I picked up a muzzle break for my WASR10.
The WASR has a threaded barrel with a nut welded on.

Is it legal for me to take the nut off and screw on the muzzle break (NYS) ?
What kind of options would I have in order to weld or solder it in place in order for the brake to be a permanent fixture?

Thanks guys.

You DO have to make it permanent in NY.

I don't think the NY law specifies exactly how so you could probably have it tack welded just like the nut was.

Make sure it's a Muzzle Brake and NOT a Flash-hider!
