That is nuts, especially since Lois from Centerfire just announced that they are getting a boatload of AMD65 kits very soon. The price is $199 I think.

Great Googly-Moogly!!

I have an excellent condition -65 kit that I bought from Bocefus a while back that's been gathering
dust in the closet. I bought it more because it was an easy-to-do SBR than anything....

If they're going for this kinda $$, maybe I oughta sell it and use the $$ for an FAL or something....

you know. i'm going to be torn when its time to build my AMD 65 kit.
the kits are boosting up in price so quickly, i could sell it off and make 300% profit..
or build a really sexy gun. decisions decisions...

oh well. i have time, patience is key.

If AMD's are going for $300, what will new side folder Bulgie 74 kits be worth in 6 months?

Dummy gun missing a lot of parts and possibly a welded barrel (but I've heard it's just a wooden dowel in there).

I have one really nice unmollested kit left that I have been sitting on to SBR...  These were great little kits but they are every bit as nice as the PMKMS or Tantial kits just we got them for less money because of the the volume of them that came in...

I would be hard pressed to sell my last AMD kit for less then $250...

They were easy to build and lots of them became pistols (I've got an AMD-65 pistol) or nice short carbines...

I too wish I had more but them are the brakes...  These AMD-65 kits ranged in finish and for a really exceptional finish a $300 kit and a $80 receiver and $200 tax stamp will make an exceptional SBR...  I don't think $400 for a a really nice SBR (without taxes) is bad at all IMHO!

I do hope that centerfire gets some AMD-63s as I was stupid and didn't get one of those and I would like to build at least one of them too...
