Where to start ? first lets talk about the good. the kit used to build this rifle appears to be very good, all numbers match with a nice clean bore. comes with a Tapco gas piston, G2 s/h trigger group and a USA pistol grip. I put around 600 rounds of wolf through it today without one malfuction. at benchrest(100 yrds) I was hitting clays and standing i was making 2 liter mt.dew bottles dance across the berm. so far so good. now lets talk about the workmanship or lack there of, of this rifle. it arrived with a nice rust spot on the receiver cover and a couple on the receiver( Armory USA). The selector has more old rust craters on it then the moon and whomever did the riviting of the rear trunion probably got fired from CAI. see pics. Overall not a bad rifle, better than i expected. you get what you pay for. if this had come from someone like inrange or jnewt i would have my foot up someone's ass. but it didn't, it came from joken. an Arsenal it isn't. it's a shooter grade firearm and shoot it i will. will i buy another joken product ? not likely. i'm i disappointed in this rifle, not really. YMMV. mmk

Hey at least it works! Pitting just adds character. Figure rag heads can put together a working AK in a mud hut, I would hope Joeking could do the same. I hate to say it but I'm tempted by their pistol ak's. |

Same here. What I can't figure out is how they can sell a rifle with rust spots on it. I see Joking is still a real class act.

 have I been hanging out at gunsnet too much?I was hanging out at Krebs awhile back and a guy came and picked up a Krink 7.62x39 pistol. Thing was just cute as could be. Krebs built that one for him, like everything else they build, for $1k. |
