I traded into a matching 1951 Tula Arsenal SKS. The only downside is that it's missing the blade bayonet. I'm not really "up" on my Soviet SKS's so I was wondering are these bayonets numbered to the rifle? Anybody have a pic of their rifle with bayonet they could post? Also I did see some blade bayonets last weekend I didnt buy them because I didnt know if they would have fit on this rifle. Did the any AK type rifle use a folding bayonet.

Thanks

No number on Bayonet.

No folding bayonet on the Ak that I am aware of.

The Chinese used both blade & spike bayonets on their SKS. On the "paratrooper" SKS they used a short spike, not sure if they used a short blade also.
Some of the ChiCom AKMs used underfolding spike bayonets, but only short spike type. IIRC the AKM underfolder spike is different than the SKS bayo.
Check e-Bay, Gunbroker, etc. I've seen plenty of SKS blade bayonets turn up there, including Russian, Romanian & Yugo (mostly M59/66 which may or may not work...).

the yugo 59/66 will not fit. a romanian or a yugo 59 will fit fine. you will pay the most from ebay.
