on accurizing. I took it to the range the other day and was getting 5" groups. I know that AK's are not tack drivers, but can I improve on those groups. I know trying different types of ammo is important ( I used Wolf...I know it sucks but it was free), but is there anything else that can be done with the gun? Ammo recommendations?

Barnaul is a good choice in ammo...And it does get a little better after break in but ammo is the main thing.. You should be able to get at least 3" groups with it.

I have been told by two different people that the Silver Bear Match Grade made a noticeable difference in the accuracy of their AK. One of these guys was shooting a WASR.

SILVER BEAR

I noticed a big difference when I went to a Mojo peep sight instead of the tangent rear sight. YMMV.
