ummm, do i see an extra hole in the receiver. which if there is and its legit then the short barrel is ok

now for the other question, how is the rear sight... how is the rezero when you take the cover off

edit : sorry just say the title... the extra hole is okay  phew

Umm, the short barrel could be OK without the "extra hole" in the receiver. It's called a registered SBR.

judging by what mine does........I have a AKS-74U that has the rear leaft type sight on the cover, it probably stays pretty close to the zero, enough that it will still hit a man size target at 100 yards........I suspect the same can be said for that, of course I would had it hinged like a 74U, instead of it coming off completely, if it was possible.

that looks sweet, only thing I am not crazy about it the buttstock, pistol grip, and the flash hider, for some reason it just doesn't look right to me, of course I'm a traditionalist with AKs.......... the HK rear sight, I can live with that........but it is a sweet looking rifle none the less


I take it is is a 5.45?

Bulgy 5.45 donor kit
Armory USA 5.45 receiver
Saiga receiver cover (smooth) with HK base & drum sight (by Grenadier Precision AKA GP)
Phantom Flash hider
Barrel cut to 10" crowned and threaded (by GP)
Custom mag release w/sex bolt (no rivet) (by GP)
Front sight/gas block (Krebs custom - no longer in production - Reproduction possibly to be made by GP)
Galil R4 stock cut down 1.5" (by GP)
Gas system cut down by 1.25" (by GP)
