Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between steel East German mags, Bulgarian, Romainian and so forth? I see mags listed for sale all the time and from looking at the pictures I can't see any noticble differences in either. I know what the Chinese mags look like, that one is simple.

Is there a library on the forums that has a listing of different mag mfg?

Thanks,

You have to remember that all the steel AK-47 mags from former USSR countries were made in factories set up by the Russians, with Russian made machinery/dies,and to Russian specifications. The only way to tell country of mfg. is the letters and symbols stamped on the back rib. Which I am not up on which letters/symbols is which country.
