I've seen some krebs and other AKs gunsmithed that had rear sight on top cover, I wonder how do they tighten top cover in order not to lose zero.

I would like to mount a picatinny rail on a spare top cover I had, any info really welcome, thanks!

On the Krebs M3-A that I owned he had drilled and tapped through the end of the recoil spring that come through the cover (sorry if I dont have quite the right word here) and then a set screw that you tighten with an allen wrench. So the screw comes down and acts a wedge of sorts pushing the cover down and because it is angled forward. Hope this helps
