A buddy that does not know much about AK's called and said he was offered a Norinco. He described it to me on the phone as a miled Norinco, with a rifle style stock and handguard, that looked overall like a Saiga. He said he thought it had a slant cut receiver on the back, but I had not heard of a slant cut milled. He did not recall a muzzle attachment. It had a side mounted scope rail. He could find no other markings that he could confirm. It was in 7.62. What is this rifle, and what is it worth on the market? He would be interested in it to flip it quickly for a few bucks. I looked over the pics thread, and could find nothing like it. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like a Norinco Hunter. They have a milled receiver and a rifle stock similar to a Saiga. They did not have a pistol grip. A lot of them were set up for a bolt on scope mount. Try looking here about half way down the page. LINK

I know where there is a type II Norinco Hunter with a scope at a local pawn shop they have it marked for $350 so I would guess that is somewhere to start as far as a price.
