Here is a pic of another CAI Yugo folder that i just picked up(NIB), and it has a really fat, but rather comfortable grip on it, and has a greenish colored yugo cotton type sling instead of the leather sling, and last but not least the accessories are a little different(more like original Yugo instead of Romanian), however, the bayonet that came with it is still of the Romanian type.

not sure if i like the grip, so it might go up for sale in the EE soon. keep your eyes open if interested.

thanks for looking

Is that a gap next to the trunion bulge?

Between the top cover and the trunion?

Looks like a little gap to me.   BTW, all the Yugos that I saw this weekend at the fun show had it.

How much did you pay for the complete package?

Both Yugo's I built up on DCI receivers had top cover issues, little gaps and some slop. Work great though!

I got that sling with mine, but not any of the other 'oddities'.

refering to the gap that is seen in the pics around the front trunion/sight block area and the top cover:

the very top/front of the top cover is actually very snug against the rear sight block and there is no gap there(i think it is a reflection off of some gun oil), but there is a very slight gap between the reciever and the lower part of the top cover but honestly it is very minimal, the flash from the camera magnified it off of the very very small amount of the bolt carrier that is visible through the gap, so no worries or regrets here on this one, very very happy and all with the build and reciever quality.

Thats why I found mine on ebay a while back when no one had any idea that the slings for the Yugo SKS's were the same thing Mine look brand new as well. Good addition to my Yugo M70s that I built.
