How were you planning to attach it to the rifle?

I honestly prefer a hicap mag monopod. Works well, no extra bbl pressure to throw off aim, and no extra cost.

The Joeken handguard has a rail similar to the M-16 attachment rails.  The piece cost about $75 though.  More than you would pay for a good bipod.

Would there be any way of putting an RPK bi-pod on?

what is an RPK bi-pod?

It is the bi-pod that fits to the end of the Russian RPK light machine gun.  It is pretty much an AK with a long barrel, heavier stock and a bi-pod.

I was just wondering out loud if this would work.  It does attach to the barrel, but it would be a sturdy mount. I don't know how cost effective it would be though, or even if it could be done.

Campybob would know.
