Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Galil-style foregrip + underfolder... will it work?

I'm thinking of getting a set of new furniture for my underfolding Century Arms International AK47.

Tapco seems to have some of the better looking stuff out there, and I'm looking at these:

My question is, will either of these Tapco parts impede the underfolding action of my AK?

It seems like the fore grip might prevent the underfolder from locking into place, but I'd like to find out if anyone knows for sure. Also, are Tapco's SAW-style pistol grips superior in feel or quality to the standard plastic pistol grips?

The grip is comfortable, I won't comment on the quality vs. a Bulgarian synthetic or a US made one from K-Var, which uses the same polymer.

The forend probably won't work for the underfolder, and it's quality is pretty suspect.  K-Var has US made black, green, and plum synthetic handguards with heat shields already installed.

Much mo' betta.
