Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Galil Parts Kits and receivers?

I've been seeing Galil parts sets in Shotgun news for 499.99 issued or 799 unissued, and the same place has galil receivers (us made) for 299 with triggerguard, mag release etc, installed.  Anyone thought of building one of these up?  They are expensive...but hee hee, kinda cool.  Are there us parts available to make these 922 legal and such?  Thanks...

The US receivers are made by Hesse, so be warned.  I don't think the receivers are available yet.  

Red Star Arms makes an adjustable trigger group for the Galil. Otherwise you have to do a little filing to an AK trigger group.  ACE has US made Galil Pistol grips.
