wanted to share a few (crappy) pictures of the AK. I'm really happy with how it turned out and with how it shoots. ive done most of the shooting with it at 50 yards but even pushing it back to 100 yards I was very impressed with the groupings once I got it dialed in, iron sights and with the red dot. anyways here's the specs.

Romanian wasr 10/63
tapco G2 trigger
midwest industries hand guard/rail
primary arms red dot... will get a T1 at some point.
surefire m300b mini scout w/thorn tail sbr mount
magpul afg
magpul ladder covers
kvar nato length stock
arsenal ak74 style muzzle brake w/14.1 LH to 24mm adaptor

Looks awesome. Where'd you get the 14.1 to 24mm adaptor?

I just bought a WASR 10 it is a 2004 but for being an early one it isn't crappy I was surprised to see it was perfectly assembled. The wood is beautiful. I got it thinking I might go the route you took. I just can't ditch the wood. Plus I have a Sam7r that is all black so I might just keep the wood. Really good looking rifle you have there. I have more fun shooting my wasr because it wasn't expensive and if it gets beat up who cares?
