it says its a steel casing with brass plating, is that the same as a regular ol' wolf steel case with just a plating?

I am looking for a good SHTF round and also the same round for a few target rounds.

I wouldn't give over 2.50 a box for it if you buy it by the box.

All that I am worrying about is my Krinkov.

I know brass cased ammo is the way to go, but I havent found anything at a good price.
I dont wanna go with steel cased ammo if it is eventually going to wear out my barrel that will be very very hard to replace.

I found brass cased ammo from Portuguese for $180 w/shipping and dont know anything about it.

+1, assuming your Krink has a chrome lined bore.

+2 Your Krink was designed to shoot steel cased ammo, but if you're still concerned, the brass plated cased ammo should be the same as brass cased ammo.

I don't see much dif between Silver Bear and Golden Bear.

The difference between silver bear, brown bear and golden bear is just appearance. They are all Barnaul and the coating really doesnt matter. I buy whichever bear (not wolf) is on sale.
