Lowes has them in the fastener section. they are black and look just like rivet heads. the are locate din teh pull out drawers that contain special fasteners, etc..

use the 3/16" black nylon hole plugs from Lowes....tight fit at first but look just like rivet heads

 Yup they almost look like rivits. These are going to stay till i get the 100series stock in place. After that I will weld the holes up before I refinish it. |

JB Weld and sandpaper/ touchup paint looks good, still waiting to see how long it holds up.

Might want to e-mail one of the gunsmiths that do these conversions. They may actually answer the question for you.

No JB Weld, and no touch up paint for me. Or were you talking about filling the holes? 
Tromix tig weld them closed Chris Butler puts rivits in the holes I'm not sure what others have done. |

Haven't had a chance to check back till just now. Thanks a million guys. I'm usually pretty resourceful, but I couldn't figure out what to do with those other damn holes! I'll give those plugs a try.

Shit. I was Lowe's last week looking through the drawers for something like that but didn't see anything. I'll have to go check again.
