Has anyone here shot a Dragunov SVD? How accurate are they?

Don't have a MOA fiqure but it is more of a DMR than a sniper rifle.

1MOA at best...

They were considered a 'sniper' weapon when developed, but now are a DMR at best... Something to make up for the lack of range associated with the AK's 16" BBL and cartridge design...

Russia has come up with some odd sniper weapons since, such as the VSS, which fires a 9x39mm cartridge....

Dave: The Dragonuv SVD is a 7.62x54R rifle with a barrel longer than 16"

The VSS Vintorez has an integrated silencer and fires the SP-5/6 cartridge. It has single and full-auto selector settings with a standard 10 round magazine.

There's also a SVU with similar single/auto settings with a 20 rd mag that fires 7.62x54R

With a 4x scope, I wouldn't expect the SVD to be a true advanced marksman rifle either.
