Would a low number kit be anymore desirable then a kit with a higher number?

Maybe to a tiny fraction of people, but in general I'd say no

I'd say that the date of the kit has an impact. The serial number, not so much.

The Lack of a serial number will indeed affect the price but I dont know of to many pep who care about the seq of the number either being large or small... the more important part is the year it was made.... Is what I like more than anything else....

id have to say no, but more of a sentimate for some like me i have a romy kit dated 1976 as thats my birth year! other than specific dates for period builds i have to say no

Probably not. If your going to build it as a shooter, it wont make any difference.
