I thought I'd throw up some pics of my go bag, a S.O. Tech Mission Go Bag, and see if I could elicit some thoughts about the concept of maintaining a go bag and learn what you guys are doing.
My bag is a work-in-process and by no means have I arrived at its final configuration. For example, the shown Zulu Gear Chaos admin pouch I've attached is much too big for what I'm after. I want a smaller pouch in which I can carry a few AK related tools and maybe some spare batteries, boot laces etc. The little Maxpedition pocket is a better alternative.

The next picture shows the bag's size as compared to a twenty round Hungarian tanker magazine. See also the world's greatest bandoleer in the background. A couple Tacos attached to the front of the bag might be a possibility too:

The main section contains four draw string pouches that will accommodate at least two thirty round AK mags each:

Looks like I can carry many more mags, empty or full, a first-aid kit, binoculars, etc in the space between the four draw string pouches:

In the bag's outside compartment, there is room for lunch, Depends, Melba toast, or whatever. There is a Velcro loop panel in the outer compartment to which something can be attached. I have another Mission Go Bag in which I have attached a three mag pistol shingle. Plenty of room in this compartment.

If you guys have some thoughts, ideas or pics to share, have at it.
Thanks for looking.
