YES THEY DID!!! about 2 years ago when some loser bought it and ran it into the ground. The only reason to go there in the last 2 years was they had some bright people still around. Now they have run all of them off, and only the crap of the crop is left. I guess since it has become public knowledge that BowHunt is really FredSanford they have experienced yet another melt down. Oh well, its about time.

So where did all the bright people go...the FAL Files?

It must be true since you keep saying it publicly.

Software upgrades to improve pic posting is in progress.

Not even close.

Fredsanford was digging up the silver tower from his lot and cut THE line.

This is now "public knowledge" therefore, you are required to believe it.

It was over three years ago when it jumped the shark IIRC, I cannot believe Dthor/Bowhunt was posing as Fred Sandford. I don't think Dthor/Bowhunt is bright enough to be Fred Sandford, Satire is above his level.

Campy, can't agree with you as this being "negative". How can more and better web sites be anything but POSITIVE.  (no flames intended)

You mean f*ck the mods for getting on you for talking about Fred? That's bad when you can't even joke about Fred anymore. Maybe he'll come over here we can start a Fred only forum.

WTF for?

daemon,

You can't even make fun of his sister anymore?  That is pathetic. Big brother is watching. And fred was wizy.  Did you ever move?  Get any of the guns back that were stolen, IIRC?

actually they made a statement against jokes and insults towards family members online, i just never got the memo.  im fine with that.

hey sundance, yes i did move, we bought our first house about three months ago.  that break-in was the least of our worries after a while, it only got worse in that neighborhood and im glad to be gone.  never got any of the stolen stuff recovered, but ive done some "rebuilding" since then.  i only moved about 2-3 miles away but it made a big difference.

Daemon,

Congrats on the house.  Nothing feels better than owning the place where you sleep.

Glad to hear you started to rebuild.  Did you ever have a HK91/G3 clone built?

[#23]
actually thats my next project, i got a few FAL's together first, and an AR :)  it really sucks to "re-buy" guns that you already paid a buttload for once.  after i get my G3 (ptr-91) together i will have replaced everything other than my LAW 12, but im thinking of selling my romy RPK and getting one.
Link Posted: 12/30/2003 6:54:29 AM EDT
[#24]
Yeah, rebuying sucks for anything.

Is the ptr91 the best receiver?  Are you building it yourself?

What FAL part sets did you use? Receiver?  Self built?

Just asking because one of the 2 might be my next project.

Well, keep me in mind if you sell the RPK.

actually i had circuits over on gunsnet build two FALs for me then i bought a heavy barrel izzy off falfiles.  im thinking about getting a PTR-91 whole gun and an improved trigger in a month or two, as soon as i pay off the ak-usa ak 102 im having built right now.  never got into building as i didnt have the space for the tools but its changed now.  linx310 and i are talking about buying all the equipment to build ak's this spring and setting up a park tank.  hes going to apply for his manufacturers license.  ill definately be building FALs too then, because i know jack shit about welding for HK's.

i really want to get into building my own rifles now, so i think were going to split the cost of the press, park tank, and even a lathe.  he has a rivet gun, and i just need to get together the specific stuff like jigs, reciever wrenches, headspace and shoulder guages, etc.

oh yeah, if your interested in an rpk, i have my romy coming back from independence arms in dallas hopefully soon.  i have it refinished and set up with a black PKM stock,'74 style brake, black handguards,OOW reciever, new trunion,  and a new windage adjustable rear sight.  just dont feel the urge for a giant squad auto style anymore since i got the izzy HB.  that thing is a PITA to lug around.

[#27]
If you are selling it now, i can't do it.  Later in the spring would be a possibility.

independence arms,

Do you live close to indy arms?  What's the deal with the recent break in there?

[#28]
uuuhh...break in..?  i live in san antonio and they are in dallas.  i hope my rpk is still there...randy's had it since september and it was never supposed to take this long but ive had constant communication with him and he seems to be a very friendly guy, so i havent pressed it.  ill give him a call tomorrow and see whats up with it.   im in no super hurry to sell it, id actually like to shoot it a few times but like i said one day i hope it can help fund me a new 12 guage semi auto, like my franchi that was stolen.
