Awesome news.  The price is reasonable and understandable IMO.  Great rail at a great price.  Nice job.

Are the sights still usable with the mount in place?

Does the mount have a rear sight built in?

Is this compatibale with the AKFX Side Folding Skeleton Stock with Internal Receiver Block from ACE?

Thank You.

nope. requires you to have a rear tang, which you have to cut off to put in the ace block.

Also how well does it retain zero after cleaning? Do you have more pics of where it attacher to the rear tang?

it attaches to the rear sight block and also to the rear tang via rocker arm. don't count on them posting a picture as that's how the chinese get their clones. the beryl mount is renown for it's stability so i wouldn't worry about it not retaining zero

What does it take it to release it from the rear tang, say for field stripping?

Will the rail be the same height as a samson or Ultimak fore-end?

it'll sit a tad higher than an ultimak. dph's quick release model has a lever that you rotate from right to left to detach it. their original style requires that you unscrew it every time. rafaga is making one that will line up with an ultimak and sits lower than dph's. his is still in development however, and the original 10 are already spoken for. however, once he finalizes his design he, should be able to make them quicker.

Yeah Im sure the chinese wont bother to actually just buy one to make a copy from...
That one picture for a $160 dollar product...

ETA its not like there is tons of reviews out there for this. I still want to know if you can use the factory Iron sites with this mount installed.
