yes... (hopes OP realizes sarcasm)
just to let you know, allthough i don't actually know the answer to your question, people are probably going to ask you to elaborate on what you're asking. namely, why cut the barrel? to what length. the law normally regulates the minimal length of a rifle barrel, anything smaller than that lenght is either considered s different classification of a weapon or just plain illegal. my first suggestion would be to check with your state law (or is it federal? i'm the worst pre law tudent ever...) to see what the min length is. |

I just wanted to cut it down and get the flashhider pinned so it's exactly 16 inches I've had an ar one done but I'm ordering a underfolding ak and want it to be as short as possible. And also will the American made black plastic grip fit on any ak?

If your AK is the standard stamped receiver AK and not a Yugo and not milled, the black pistol grip will fit.
Also, yes you can chop the barrel down and permanently attach a muzzle device. I suggest you have a qualified gunsmith do it though. You might have to search around though and you most likely will have to send it off. A lot of gunsmiths are nazis when it comes to anything AK related. |

Besides the whole under 16" thing and depending on how much length you reduce, you will probably have to widen the gas port hole in the barrel to keep reliability up to par.

What length of cleaning rod came with your 107UR? I am trying find a shorter cleaning rod for a AK-102.

If you have the skill and tools to cut a barrel and re-thread it. You should have the skills and tools to cut and re-thread the cleaning rod.

The barrel on an AK is barely over 16" as it is. Just remove the slant brake and install a US-made barrel nut instead.
