Hi, all. Topic says it all. I'm assuming the correct finish would be shellac? I'm about done staining my Romy furniture and was just wondering. I was going to hunt down some of that Behr tung oil and do that, I'm not sure authenticity will matter all that much since the furniture is going on a MAK-90. However, now that the furiture is about ready for the top coat, I'm getting kinda antsy and want to get it done and get it on the rifle. Shellac is quick and, provided you steel-wool or scotchbrite it before putting it on the rifle, it should be sufficiently dull for my purposes. What say the experts? As always, thanks for the help.

PS- Almost forgot to add: I just got my US laminated PG from AA-OK yesterday. I had placed the order on 11-15-05. While I wasn't real happy about how long I had to wait for it, it looks good enough that the wait was, pretty much, worthwhile. It isn't exactly what I wanted, but with having to get a US part for parts compliance, it will work -and look- just fine. It's also bigger than the Com-Bloc part, which is great since I have large hands. Will post pics when I get it done and on the rifle.
