They were prototypes that never got into ull production because the plastic was too brittle.  I think I heard promag made clear mags maybe not.

Then how can the Bulgarian .223 clear mags be so durable? ?   Was there much difference?

You see how the the .223 mags are kind of a smoked color?  I think the mixture in the pastic was revised and was made more durible.  Bulgaria doesn't use an AKM I don't think, so that's probably why the mags haven't been put back into production with the new material.  I think they only make AKMs for export I'm not sure though if any one knows feel free to correct me..
