I'm sure this must have been asked before, but how do you go about removing the gas piston from the rod on a MAK90? I can see that it has a pin in one side, but it doesn't look like it goes all the way through. I'm putting a U.S. parts kit in the rifle and this is the only part that I haven't changed. Do you drill the pin out, knock it through? The new piston is threaded and I hope there are threads in the rod end when I get the old piston out.
