I have a nice Century Cetme, reliability is %100 with Nato ammo.,, have several stocks, green, black and of course original Poplar in nice condition.

Am thinking about listing on EE trade for Yugo or MAK-90 stamped under.

Anyone talk me out of this or should I go?

Either sell it to me or keep it. Cetmes are getting rare and going up in price.

BWAAAAHAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

A CETME makes a Hi-Point carbine look like a SIG 550!!

I would do the trade. You can still get a YUGO but you might have to l
kick in some cash for a Chicom PB. a VECTOR polish gun would
be a candidate too.

What's wrong with a High-Point carbine?  I heard they were the best money could buy..........................

$40 worth of money, anyway.

Personaly if the Cetme was a nice one I would keep it and save for an AK. I like .308 and at times .308 is a lot esier to find than 7.62x39. You will wish you still had it later.

Wow thanks I really liked my cetme the only reason I sold mine is because it was shortened I really wanted a standard model. If it works its a good gun. Compares to a hi-point I seriously doubt it. Also are they not going up in price?

The Cetme's that work are fine. The only reasons why I got rid of mine were that I was getting a FAL and that I wanted to reload 308 (Cetme's wreck their brass). I don't see why you couldn't get a well built Yugo or Polish UF in trade. I think you'd better throw in a lot of furniture, mags and ammo if you want a Polytech

A good cetme is worth keeping.  AK's are a dime a dozen but if you have a good cetme that works then keep it.  Chances of finding another that works good for a decent price is slim.  I was gonna look for a cetme to use as a beater so I'd use my HK less but gave up.  They're going for as much as AK's right now.  I'd save up for an AK and keep the cetme but thats just me.

My rare, good CETME will not be traded for one of those AKs. Esp if the CETME has a Bill Springfield trigger job

Bill Springfield trigger job?

Would be interested in what he does, I have had my pack apart, removing burrs and polishing surfaces, other than that not certain what to do.

I put it up for trade on EE this morning.  You guys convinced me I am going to pull it.
