Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Century Yugo Barrel Question

Did all of the Century rebuilds get a new barrel ? I've got a M70B1 that's got a super clean barrel, but the rifling is shallow and I have a M70BA2 with a new barrel as it is clean and has good rifling.

Yes, supposedly Green Mtn "heavy" bbls.

The original Yugos these guns were derived from did not have chrome bores and they used corrosive ammo. Folks with Yugo parts-kits have discovered that barrels are often pretty bad.

It is unlikely that a commercial operation would build up guns with such possibly bad barrels.
